This documentary film is about an obscure piece of land amidst the terror-stricken mountains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan which stands as a unique example of militant socialist struggle in the country. The film portrays and celebrates the liberation of the common people - peasants, workers and artists - of Hashtnagar and is a tribute to this vibrant yet forgotten chapter of class-struggle in Pakistan.
The film was made by Ammar Aziz in 2010.
